About Our Owner, Terrance Weber

My name is Terrance Weber, and I am the owner-operator of Originals by Weber. I grew up during the Great Depression of the 1930s. We had no money and neither did our friends and neighbors, but we still lived life to the fullest. After high school, 3 yrs in USN and then GI Bill college, I joined my Dad in his time clock sales and service business. I later, as a writer,  became an advertising copywriter with Darrell T. Hare at the  Yeck & Yeck Advertising Agency in Dayton, Ohio. Later I established my own company: Weber & Son Direct Mail Advertising and Printing in Freehold, New Jersey. In 2000 I set up my first Internet website. Over the years I have invented several office aid products (the Tymindex Time Card File System, for example) and sold them via mail order, mail marketing as well as on the Internet (ebay & my websites).

A Bit Of History: I am a WWII vet, I joined the USn when I was 17 and stayed in for 3 years.  My college education was financed by the GI Bill. Have always been an avid sailboat sailor and an idea and creative sort of guy.  I have 3 children with my first wife before she passed away. I remarried and my new wife already had 6 children then we adopted 2 more children. We now have a happily "blended" family with all 13 of us living in different places all over the USA. I was a Marketing and Direct Mail & Mail Order Consultant and using my marketing & writing talents, I helped many of my business clients reach their marketing goals to successfully sell their products over the years,

Then,  in 1992, a fire put us out of the direct mail and printing business. Not too long after that, I figured it was about time to retire and Doris and I took a long anticipated trip to Alaska where we drove our RV everywhere in AK to see the sights. We returned to lower 48 (and family) via the  Inside Passage using the Alaska Ferry System  to Washington state. We'd like to go back to Alaska - Lord willing - someday!

After retiring from my 40-year-old direct mail advertising business in Freehold, New Jersey, my wife and I volunteered to help build about 49 houses, nationwide, for needy people as part of Habitat for Humanity. We became Habitat's RV Care-A-Vanner volunteers. We drove our RV to a build site, parked there then lived in the RV for 2-weeks. Each day, along with other RV volunteers, we helped build a house . It was lots of fun to "give back" in this way. We did that for about ten years when health problems and gas prices forced us to stay home in New Jersey.

Since 2000 -  I have written and published over 150 online articles for EzineArticles where they gave me the title of  Platinum Writer (their best). I now pursue my creative dreams by inventing new products to help fill the health and day-to-day needs of my Internet customers and I market them on my website.
